Visualize their breasts stitched in a feathery pattern with some kind of subtle overdyed thread; their bodies in a similar stitch in a richer overdye; their feet and neck/face in a black metallic and the frame in a combo of color appropo threads. If you are a "Shelly" diva you will adore this vintage piece because the image of old Santa hopping a ride on the nearest flying goose inspires a stomach-wrenching chuckle. How typically Shelly! Great opportunity to stitch directional interlocking gobelin with overdyed pearl or floss to make the goose appear more realistic than just a taxi. (Or you could use taxi-cab yellow!)

Stitch painted on #18 and with black painted background both of which add to the cost, this little spider is both charming and frightening when stitched in Fuzzy Stuff 002 and with applied, moveable googly eyes, juxtaposed on a golden moon made realistic in a T-stitch of Silk Lame 06. And there are some great Halloween prints and silks out there that can make this finished project spooktacular! BTW, visualize this horizontally, not vertically!
